Synthesis of Novel Pyrrole Derivatives with α,β-Unsaturated Ketones under Ultrasound Irradiation

Abstract:The intermediates, 5-formyl-3-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2,4-dicarboxylic ester(4a~4d), were obtained by nitrosation, Knorr condensation and oxidization using ethyl acetoacetate and methyl acetoacetate as raw materials. Four novel pyrrole derivatives were synthesized by Aldol condensation of 4a~4d with acetone under ultrasound irradiation. The structures were characterized by IR, 1H NMR and HR-ESI-MS.
