Application of Four-Element Raney Ni in Catalytic Hydrogenation of Aliphatic Low-carbon Nitro Compounds

Abstract:Aliphatic low-carbon nitro compounds were catalytic hydrogenated using four-element Raney Ni(Ni-Al-Mo-Fe) as the catalyst. The effect of compostion and size of the catalyst to the hydrogenation was investigated. The results showed that 100 mesh~150 mesh Ni-Al-Mo-Fe(Ni%>90%) was the most suitable catalyst for the hydrogenation with the yields of 95%, and the conversion rates were more than 99%.
