Abstract Six novel phenoxy acetic acid derivatives containing a pyrimidine heterocycle group were synthesized by aldol condensation, ring closure and esterification, etc, using p-hydroxybenzaldehyde and chloroacetic as the starting materials. The structures were characterized by 1H NMR， 13C NMR， IR and HR-ESI-MS.
